Anti-Ragging Committee is the supervisory and advisory body in preserving of Ragging Free Environment in the Polytechnic Campus. In accordance with the supreme court on ragging (2007), the judgement of supreme court on ragging (2009) and the Anti-Ragging regulations to curb the menace of ragging completely.

Ragging constitutes any of the following acts:

1. Any conduct by student(s ) whether by words spoken / written / by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness to any other student(s).
2. Indulging in rowdy or indiscipline activities by any student(s) which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship, physical or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any other student(s). Any act of physical abuse including all variants of it: sexual abuse, homosexual assaults, stripping, forcing obscene and lewd acts, gestures, causing bodily harm or any other danger to health or person.
3. Asking any student(s) to do any act which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such student(s).  Any act by a senior student(s) that prevents, disrupts or disturbs the regular academic activity of any other student(s).
4. Exploiting the services of any other student(s) for completing the academic tasks assigned to an individual or a group of students.
5. Any act of financial extortion or forceful expenditure burden put student(s) by on any other students;
6. Any act that affects the mental health and self-confidence of a student(s) with or without an intent to derive a sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or superiority by  student(s) over or any other student(s).

Punishment to those found guilty:

Any student or group of students found guilty of ragging in the campus or even outside the campus shall be liable to one or more of the following punishments

1. Debarring from appearing in any Sessional Test / Board Examination.
2. Suspension from attending classes and academic privileges.
3. Withdrawing scholarships and other benefits.
4. Suspension from the college.
5. Cancellation of the admission.
6. Withholding the results.
